15" Macbook Pro in for possible water damage. Keyboard shows the remains of some dried liquid. Boots but runs incredibly slow even when booting to a USB device. Usually only see issues like this when the board has gotten wet. Checked the solid state drive already in another machine and it's running perfectly. Next step... Pull out and examine the motherboard. If we see any corrosion we will try to wash the board. We've seen cases where the CPU gets wet and is overheating so the system throttles it's speed to cool itself and prevent further damage. Hence the horrible performance.
